A demonstration-based workshop in home fermentation projects, join us at Harvest Valley Farms to learn how to make your own fermented goods from seasonal farm-fresh vegetables and discover the various health benefits of these traditions.
Presenters, Carrie Hahn of the Weston Price Foundation and Jackie Cleary from Auburn Meadow Farm will be demonstrating how to make kimchi & kraut, and great suggestions for different ways to pickle your favorite veggies! We will also have plenty of recipes and information on hand about local sourcing for your DIY fermentation projects along with a brief history of food preservation and fermentation and its health benefits.
