PASA is partnering with the School for Sustainability and the Environment at Chatham University to present this introductory master class on log-based sustainable shiitake mushroom cultivation, harvesting, and marketing. Allen Matthews, Director of Sustainable Agriculture at Chatham University will lead participants in this hands-on workshop. Participants will learn about tree species selection and sustainability, spawn types, inoculations, predictable fruiting, and enterprise management.
