Here’s an opportunity for those who want to grow some of their own herbs and vegetables, but might not know where to start, as well as for anyone who wants to refine their gardening skills or gain new perspectives.
Sonja Hunt from Restoration Herbs in Franklin, PA, will facilitate this workshop, which will focus on the process of determining where, what and how to plant. Participants will use a pre-workshop questionnaire to consider their own potential garden site, needs and capabilities. Then, following an overview of the “whys and hows” of organic gardening, they will sketch out a plan, and learn about choosing and sourcing seeds and plants. The workshop is recommended for ages 16 and up.
Pre-registration and pre-payment of $10.00* per person are required by February 9th. *Registration fee for PASA/GFN members is $8.00
