This Master Class is co-hosted by the East End Food Cooperative as part of the Eat Local, America! Workshop Series.
Think making cheese is complicated and time consuming? Not so – it’s easy, saves money and is so, SO much better! You’ll love how quick, simple, cool and delicious summer meals and entertaining can be when you have plenty of good, home made dairy on hand. In this class, you will learn about good milk and make a simple European everyday cheese as well as versatile (and yummy) Middle Eastern style marinated cheese balls.This is a beginner's class: focus is on dairy products easily replicated at home with no expensive or specialized equipment. Take home cheese-ready milk, recipes and ideas for making your home-made cheese part of every day meals, plus tips and resources for finding equipment and ingredients.
