Sustainability Schools
Coordinated via PASA's Good Food Neighborhood, community outreach program, Sustainability Schools parallel our Farm-Based Education program, only they provide home-scale sustainable living workshops. These homesteading, homemaking and backyard conservation workshops are being conducted by partnering groups and organizations under the Good Food Neighborhood label.
These schools bring the value of PASA’s marketing/publicity power to our partners, who then bring educational value to workshop attendees. In exchange, we are growing the Good Food Neighborhood with contact information for people who wouldn’t typically have had PASA on their radar. The program strengthens our relationships with like-minded organizations, as well as increases community engagement.
