PASA’s Designated Membership Regions Undergoing Realignment
As many PASA members may know, several years ago we decided to segment our large, diverse state into what we termed our “regions” or “membership regions”.
After reviewing the size of the current North Central/East region, and because of new resources available in the Northeast area, the PASA board of directors approved a region realignment that will affect the North Central/East and Southeast regions.
Effective June 1 we will be creating a new Eastern region that will cover the eastern corridor of the state. The counties to be included in this new Eastern region are detailed below. There will also be one change to the South Central region, where Lebanon County will be added.
The NEW Eastern region will include the following counties – Berks, Bucks, Carbon, Chester, Delaware, Lackawanna, Lancaster, Lehigh, Luzerne, Monroe, Montgomery, Northampton, Philadelphia, Pike, Schuylkill, Susquehanna, Wayne, Wyoming
The North Central/East region will be renamed the North Central region including the following counties – Bradford, Cameron, Centre, Clearfield, Clinton, Columbia, Elk, Lycoming, McKean, Montour, Northumberland, Potter, Sullivan, Tioga, Union
In the South Central region, Lebanon County will be added, so this region will include the following counties – Adams, Bedford, Blair, Cambria, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Fulton, Huntingdon, Juniata, Lebanon, Mifflin, Perry, Snyder, York
PASA has organized Pennsylvania's 67 counties into four local marketing regions, in effort to bring programs and services of importance on local levels to members in those areas.

PASA's regional marketing programs improve and strengthen marketing opportunities for farmers and enhance community awareness about the importance of local and sustainable agriculture.
Farmers are included in designing community-based marketing strategies that increase consumption of Pennsylvania farm products and farm profitability. Projects develop local alternative markets, encourage value-added production, and initiate partnerships that link rural and urban communities.
Currently PASA has regional satellite offices established in the Eastern and Western regions. Our goal is to establish additional regionally based offices in the near future.
Also PASA realizes the importance and support of our non-Pennsylvania members. We have established two regions for our "out of staters" for those residing in states North and East of Pennsylvania and those in states located to the South and West of Pennsylvania.
