FINAL CALL - Conference Pre-Registration

Posted by at Jan 29, 2013 05:11 AM |

Dear PASA Members & Friends,

Today (until 11:59 pm) is your last chance to register online for this year's Farming for the Future Conference, and to avoid extra fees for walk-in registration! If you're waiting for a good reason to take the definitive step of registering for this year's conference right now, I will give you three:

1)      Unprecedented things are happening in our country and the world that will have a big effect on the future of farming  for decades to come. YOU need to be informed, and involved in the discussions to come!

2)      This year's keynote speakers will offer a practical vision for how the food system economy can work better for your family, your farms and our country in the years ahead.

3)      As always, farmers feel refreshed and refocused at the close of our conference, enthusiastic to face the challenges ahead in the coming year. How can you do without the "shot in the arm" you get from interacting with your PASA family!?

Online registrations are coming in quickly right now (not that there are any procrastinators in this group...), so we encourage you to jump in before the last minute. HOWEVER, if you miss tonight's deadline, we will gladly take registrations by phone tomorrow only (Wednesday, January 30), for an additional $20 processing fee, which is half the fee charged to walk-ins after that. Please call during normal business hours to take advantage of this opportunity.  The office phone is (814) 349-9856, and you can choose extension 16 if a person doesn't answer right away to help you. Please note that all registrations for pre-conference tracks must be done in advance - walk-in registration will only be available for the main conference.

We have another big group headed to the Penn Stater next week. Don't miss out on your opportunity to be among them, and to renew your vision for the future of farming and food systems!

Here is the link for more information & to register.
