Local Food Month highlights the bounty of good food found right here in our own neighborhoods. Learn more about where your food comes from, how it was produced, and who produced and prepared it.  Find ways to give back to support local farming and healthy local food for all!

PASA and the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank partner with farmers markets around the region.  Buy extra produce from a farmer at your favorite market and donate it to a local food pantry.  Find a participating market here.

Meadville Market House Local Foods Dinner

The Meadville Market Authority is hosting a benefit evening of fine dining and music. The Dinner features locally grown fruits and vegetables as well as local meats, breads and cheeses provided by our Market House vendors and prepared by Chef Charles Wise.  Locally brewed beer and wine will also be served. Dinner guests will be entertained by internationally acclaimed pianist Beth Etter performing classical music.
